From Production to a New Challenge
Javed gained a great deal of practical knowledge and experience in production. That led to an opportunity to advance to a position in the office. This was a move that suited him well.
“I enjoy working with people and like finding solutions. My experience in manufacturing still helps me with that. It gives me a better understanding of what goes into a product and what a customer needs.”
Javed has been working in Customer Service for many years now, where interacting with customers is a key part of his job.
Listen, Help, and Solve
As a Customer Service Representative, Javed is the point of contact for customers. He answers questions, finds solutions, and ensures that agreements and inquiries are properly followed up on. Some questions are resolved quickly, while others require a bit more research and collaboration with colleagues.
“For me, customer service isn’t just about answering a question, but above all about listening carefully and making sure a customer can move forward.” It is precisely the moment when a customer has been helped effectively and can move forward satisfied that gives Javed a great sense of fulfillment.
It's the people who make the difference
Over the years, Javed has been through a lot at KLINGER. There have been great times, changes, and also moments when things were a bit more difficult. What has always remained important to him are the people he works with and the sense of mutual commitment.
Colleagues are there for one another, and there’s room for a chat and a little humor. That combination is why Javed still feels at home at KLINGER. “If, after 36 years, I still enjoy going to work and find fulfillment in what I do, that says it all for me.”
His advice to future colleagues?
“Give yourself the chance to get to know KLINGER . There’s plenty to do here, you’ll work with a variety of people, and no two customer requests are the same.”
