"After working at my previous employer for 19 years, I was ready for a new challenge. I decided to send an open application to KLINGER. I have always been curious what it would be like to work for a large international company like KLINGER . After much consideration, I decided to take the plunge and apply. My main reason was that I was getting into a rut. I noticed that I didn't enjoy going to work every morning, despite having great colleagues. I also wanted to work a little closer to home, because the traffic jams were not getting any easier. KLINGER is about three kilometers away from my home, and I cycle there every day without delay. The combination of enjoying my work again and the reduced travel time made me make this well-considered choice, which I have never regretted for a moment.
The KLINGER atmosphere
"During my first day at work I immediately noticed how helpful, diverse and kind my new colleagues were. I've already walked through several departments, it's fun because everyone talks proudly and passionately about their work within KLINGER. It soon became clear to me, KLINGER is a very nice employer, I experience this every day.
I noticed something remarkable during the New Year's drinks; our director told us that we do not want to achieve more sales this year at KLINGER than last year. But instead that 2023 is all about health. How often do you come across that, that a director wants less revenue and focuses on health this year? Then I can tell you, not often. It made me feel like the health of me and my colleagues is paramount and that this is not just about the bottom line."
My role as a Technical Sales associate at KLINGER
"Today I have been working at KLINGER for about two months. I am currently learning our PC system and exactly what products I am selling. Eventually, in addition to taking on an advisory role, I will also work out quotes and orders and make follow-up calls. What I enjoy most about my job is sensing the market and responding to it. I have contact with the customer and always strive to come up with the best solution together. Of course I can't do that alone, I work closely with a specialized team so that we can tackle all challenges together. Internally, product training is also given to increase my commercial qualities and those of my colleagues, together we form a team full of knowledge and each with his own quality."
