Energy production and transportation takes place under challenging conditions and strict safety requirements. This requires high-quality, reliable and safe products that meet international standards. KLINGER has a wide range of products in its assortment that meet the strict requirements and guidelines of this industry: robust and in wear-resistant or corrosion-resistant versions. This specialized industry has to deal with demanding customers and strict regulations regarding safety, procedures and certificates. The rise of district heating demands reliable and robust solutions. A supplier that due to a calamity cannot fulfill its obligations for a longer period of time or causes inconvenience quickly runs the risk of reputation and image damage.
These ball valves are commonly used in:
The KLINGER Ball Valves Type KHI meet the current most stringent requirements according to NEN-EN488:2015 and are already prepared for future standards regarding tensile strength, compressive strength and bending stresses.
The unique sealing system is one of the main features of these robust valves. In the closed position, the welded test and drain valve ensures that the valve can be depressurized in the interim. In addition, the system is equipped with an automatic pressure release when pressure rises.
The main advantage of this is that the ball valve can be tested in-line for tightness.
The KLINGER Type KHI ball valves meet the current most stringent requirements according to NEN-EN488:2015 and are already prepared for future standards regarding tensile strength, compressive strength and bending stresses.
The KLINGER ball valve type Monoball KHO is prepared for the future and specially designed for the toughest conditions your heat network has to perform under. Pre-insulated and EN488 certified.
Paris, the city that blends history and modernism like no other, is always worth a visit. Its district heating network, which also services famous landmarks such as the cathedral of Notre Dame or the Louvre museum, is the largest in France and the only one in Europe powered by steam. A chamber located near the Eiffel Tower now also houses a sealing technology-related sight: A KLINGER BALLOSTAR ball valve.
Industrial heat pumps are crucial to taking the next step toward generating renewable energy. In Austria, KLINGER worked with the largest energy supplier, Wien Energie, to design future district heating.
Read here about a great project in Vienna, where heat energy is extracted from delivered wastewater from a main treatment plant through the addition of industrial heat pumps.
