Patricia van Izerloo has been part of the KLINGER team since March 2025. When she first got to know KLINGER , she was immediately impressed by the company, its culture, and, above all, its people. Patricia now enjoys working as a sales engineer in North Brabant and parts of Gelderland.
A New Challenge
"After 27 years in various sales roles and industries, I was looking for my ideal job. Through an acquaintance who was already working there, I came into contact with KLINGER. He spoke enthusiastically about the company, its culture, and its people. The videos about working at KLINGER also appealed to me right away. I submitted my resume, and during the introductory interview, I immediately felt right at home. And that feeling has only grown stronger!”
As a sales engineer, Patricia manages customer relationships in her region. She visits customers, identifies their needs and technical challenges, and works with them to develop appropriate solutions. For more complex issues, she collaborates with product specialists. “The best part is working with customers and colleagues to find solutions that contribute to a safer and more efficient environment.”
No two days are the same
Patricia doesn’t really have a typical workday. In addition to visiting clients, she receives inquiries by phone and email, follows up on quotes, and regularly secures new appointments and opportunities. “No two workdays are the same. That’s exactly what makes my job so much fun!”
It's the people who make the difference
What Patricia especially appreciates about KLINGER is the interaction with colleagues and clients. “The atmosphere is open and collegial. Everyone is there for one another, communication lines are short, and there’s always room to ask questions. And believe me, I’ve done that a lot. And I still do!” she says with a laugh.
According to Patricia, it’s the people who make KLINGER such a great place to work. “You quickly feel like part of the team. We work hard, but we also celebrate our successes together. That makes going to work a pleasure every day.”
