Elaflon + PTFE hoses

Application

The Elaflon PTFE is a universal hose with seamless smooth PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) inner wall in, suitable for heavier applications, at high temperatures, such as for example chemical cleaning within the food industry. The hose can be used for both suction and press applications for the unloading and loading of drums, containers, tank and kettle cars and the equipment of fixed installations. The PTFE inner wall is robust and extremely durable in use. In addition, the hose is steamable to as much as 150°C (for 30 minutes).

The Elaflon PTFE is kink- and shape-proof due to its steel spiral and retains its round shape under vacuum. Despite its robust construction, the hose is extremely flexible in use. The hose is also available without spiral, which makes the hose suitable for mounting on a reel.
