Reduced emissions due to corrugated flange gasket

This seal has a corrugated carrier of AISI 316Ti stainless steel with an overlay of 99% pure graphite or PTFE. The overlays are hereby pressed into the valleys of the corrugated carrier, creating a highly elastic non-expressible "labyrinth" seal with a leakage value considerably lower than that of a conventional graphite seal.

THIS SEAL IS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF:

• Good handling due to the optimized corrugated backing.
• High adaptability for slight unevenness in sealing surface due to high-density multiple sealing.
• Anti-blowout according to HOBT1.
• Readable identification on the flat outer edge (such as size & pressure class).
• Fire Safe certification according to ISO EN 10497 and API 607.
• VDI2440 certification and testing and it meets all TA-Luft criteria
• Tested according to requirements TRD401 (Technische Regeln für Dampfkessel).

APPLICATION:
For flanges according to ANSI 150# and 300# or DIN PN10 to PN40.

EXCEPTIONS:
This flange seal is available in:

•  With runs of Graphite or PTFE
• In special designs serving oval or round manholes on steam boilers.
