AISI 316 L carrier with graphite overlay, DIN standard

Suitable for: steam, oil, hydrocarbons and many chemicals.

  • This gasket is suitable for high pressure and temperature.
  • Can be fabricated into an easily handled gasket in any size.
  • The type 109 CA is similar to the type 109 LA in terms of application, however, the tread depth is only 0.2 mm in the center and evenly deepens to 0.4 mm towards the sides.

Explanation *As a metal, 316L (1.4404) is the most common, but 321, 304, Cst, Monel, Inconel, Titanium and others are also possible.
*Same for the overlays, e.g. PTFE, Softchem, KLINGERSIL and mica (max. temp. up to 900ºC).
DIN dimensions suitable for flanges according to EN1092
ANSI dimensions suitable for flanges according to B16.5 (≤24") or B16.47A or B (> 24")
