PTFE expansion joint | 2 waves

Suitable for: applications where the chemical properties of other materials are no longer sufficient. They are used in the (petro)chemical industry to accommodate expansion and/or vibrations and as flexible joints in PTFE and glass-lined piping systems.

• Resistant to chemicals except fluorine compounds halogens and liquid alkali metals.
• The PTFE is flared at the flanges so the metal flanges do not come into contact with the medium.
• With a metal outer jacket also suitable for high pressures at high temperatures.
• Insensitive to many movements, material does not tire easily.
• Equipped with tie rods as standard.
• For standard compensators with 2, 3, or 5 waves, pressure resistance decreases rapidly with temperature rise. (See the tables for the various types in expanded page.)
